Being in college can be very stressful. Applying for jobs, taking examinations, and writing papers, all comes with being a college student. The semester is just beginning and all the work is piling up. Professors are now giving test, assigning homework and papers which will leave me with very little time to myself. As a solution, I have some stress relief techniques that I use which will help other students as well.

  A few tips I would recommend is to RELAX, take a STEP at a time and DON’T worry so much. I have gotten to the point where I can eliminate my worries and now I no longer worry about unnecessary things. Also, you should think positive. What are the positive outcomes that come out of what you’re doing? Another tip is to plan ahead of time in order to identity which tasks are more important than others. HOLD OFF on tasks that can wait awhile and that have the least importance.  In addition, it’s important to have a planner or a notepad with a list of things that needs to be accomplished. I am not a specialist in stress, but these techniques have definitely worked for me. If I hadn’t tried it, I would be stressed during this time of the year.
